Friendsgiving 2021 was a huge success. THANK YOU to all of the parents and students who brought food. Special thanks to Chad Hill and Barebones for the turkeys. They where delicious!

Both JH Boys teams will travel to Gordon today to play. 7th Grade will start at 5:30, 8th Grade will follow.

Due to food shortages and ordering delays the cafeteria is facing, they will not be able to host a Thanksgiving meal as they usually do. Instead we will be conducting Friendsgivings throughout the school in different groups Tuesday, November 23rd.
We will treat this day more like a potluck party, allowing students to bring a dish for the meal. In the high school, for grades 9-12, tables will be set up down the hallway for food. The middle grades, 5-8 will be in the cafeteria and elementary will be in their own hallway.
Elementary teachers have sent letters home detailing their class parties.
Junior high and high school kids will need to talk to each other about what they are bringing. True pot luck style!

Junior High OAP
We will practice Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
Students must be at the school before 6am on Friday November 19th to leave for competition. Bus will pull out at 6am. Family who want to see the play need to be at Abbott ISD by 12:30pm.
We will preform for the school at 9am on November 23rd.
Permission slips went out today and need to be signed and returned by Wednesday, November 17th.
