JH Games Tomorrow
Round 2 of the playoffs is set!
New order through Monday. If you would like to order please call the front office and place it.
Today’s JH games will be played at home. We will start as soon as Mt Calm arrives. 5:30 at the earliest but more than likely closer to 6.
Congratulations to the four scholarship winners! They wrote essays for The Patriots Pen and The Voice of Democracy through the VFW. They competed against other area schools in Coryell County. Seniors Manny Torres and Jeffrey Morse won first and second place in the Voice of Democracy division. For eighth grade in the Patriots Pen division Adalyna Andrade and Hunter Beaty won first and second.

Today’s JH basketball games are at home vs Mt Calm. Games will start at 5:30 with jh girls, 7th grade boys, then 8th grade boys.

Youth League Basketball forms went home today with grades 1st-6th.
We have partnered up with neighboring 6man schools to form a league. As we get more information about the formate of the league, we will provide it to parents.
Games will not start until after the Christmas break.
Please make sure you turn the form back in by Nov 17th. If for some reason a team does not make, this will still give parents time to sign up their child in other basketball leagues in the community.

Jonesboro FFA Members competed at the Bosque Rover District Leadership contest yesterday.
Sr Creed: Willow Holland (5th Place)
Sr Quiz: Pate Foote, Truett Foote, Clayton Herring, and Addie Reuter (5th place)
Job Interview: Trey Harbour (6th place)
JR Quiz: Braxton Dossey, Leonella Rodriguez, and Maddison Manning (6th place).

Coach Simon has reached out to other local six man schools to create a little league basketball division. Grades 1-6 will be welcome to play. We will send out sign up sheets and more details soon.
Jonesboro FFA members Pete Wallace, Michella Martinez and Heiler Martinez had a great time at the Holiday Classic Clinic and show this weekend!!! As always, this Ag teacher is thankful for parents that pitch in to help each other when I have to be absent! 😃

FFA Fundraiser orders will be delivered at 10 AM on Thursday. Please make arrangements to pick up by the early release time. Anything not picked up will be stored in the cafeteria freezer until Friday.
