Congratulations to Hunter Thompson! He finished 5th today at cross country qualifying for regionals!

Thank to the junior class for helping the littles fill out their book wish lists. It’s little things like this that make JISD so special.

Good luck to all the runners at today’s district cross country meet in Mount Calm!

We need more volunteers for the concession stand Thursday. On of our JH teams plays in College Station so a couple of our regular workers will not be in town.
Please contact Jenny if you can work!

Don’t forget that we do NOT have school Monday, October 11th. Enjoy the long weekend!

Next week, Oct. 12-15th will be our book fair.
We will also have Grandparent’s Day Oct. 15th.

This weeks pep rally will be in the afternoon. This will cause the afternoon car rider line to run a little slower. If you have any questions please call the school.

We are so very proud of you all!

Homecoming Week Activities

The end of the first six weeks is Friday, October 8th. Report cards will go out the following week. If you have any questions regarding grades or attendance please check parent portal or contact the school.

Homecoming activities and themes for school. It’s going to be a great week!

We need concession stand workers next week for all of the homecoming activities. We will need people for Tuesday's Powder Puff Game, Wednesday's Movie Night and EXTRA workers for Friday's Homecoming game.
PLEASE sign up to work. This is the major fundraiser for the Booster Club. They provide equipment and support to ALL students at JISD. Not just football.

I had to make a few changes to the lunch menu this week. Thursday we will have Hamburgers, French Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles, Onions and Mixed Fruit. Friday will be Spaghetti and Meat Sauce, Breadsticks, Cooked Carrots, Salad, Ranch, Mandarin Oranges and Ice Cream. Also, there will not be any alternatives on Wednesday or Thursday this week. Thank you for your patience with the menu changes.
