Day 1 and 2 of State FFA Convention have been amazing! Two sessions, a keynote speech from Amberley Snyder, some corn hole, Dale Brisby, Water Gardens, and Top Golf!
Tomorrow is a LONG day. Trey Harbour will interview for State Star Chapter Farmer and we will find out results tomorrow afternoon. Our delegates will also elect our State Officers tomorrow as well as the State Champion Talent Team. More to come…..

STAAR scores are now posted on the states STAAR assessment page. We have not received the detail paper copies to send home nor do we have the reports from the state to give you the same detail you can see on this website. We should receive this information this week.
To access detail reports of these tests you will need your child's access code from previous STAAR reports OR their social security number and birthday.

Jonesboro FFA Officers attended the Area VIII Chapter Leadership Camp at Glen Lake Methodist camp this weekend.


The Boys Basketball League in Hamilton will start this upcoming Monday. It will be every Monday in June. The boys need to bring $10 with them on this upcoming Monday. The league is for incoming 9th-12th graders.

If you are attending the shooting camp June 9th please contact Coach Simon or Kendra Gustin. We need to get a count for the instructors coming to the school to teach the camp. It is a $25 fee for the camp.

Last week of school events!
🎼The band spring concert will be on May 25th at 6:30 in the cafeteria.
👩🎓👨🎓May 25th our seniors will do their senior walk through the school.
🤩May 27th will be the pk-8th grade awards. Pk-3 will start at 8:30. 4-8th grade will start at 10 am.
⏰May 27th is also an early release day.
🖤💛Graduation is May 28th at 5:30 in the gym.💛🖤

Field Day will be on for tomorrow Friday 21st. Again we appreciate the patience and can’t wait for a fun day with our kids tomorrow!

Jonesboro’s senior, Wade Foote and sophomore, Costin Allison placed 4th in the State Central Texas High School Tournament Trail. Super proud of these boys! They received an $800 scholarship for college!


Notes are going home with students today. It has a few things we’d like you to know about the event whether it be this Friday the 21st or next Monday the 24th. A firm decision will be made by tomorrow afternoon. Again we appreciate everyone’s understanding with navigating the weather.
