Jonesboro ISD Volleyball Tournament action gets underway this Thursday and Friday with pool play, followed by bracket play on Saturday!

Bracket play is set for our Jonesboro Lady Eagles tomorrow at the Hamilton Varsity Volleyball Tournament! The Lady Eagles take on Hamilton at 1:25 PM—good luck, ladies! Go Eagles! 🦅🏐
As we end our inservice week and prepare for our first day of school next Monday, we want to give a big thank you to First National Bank of Evant, Dixon Realty, and Justin Stephens with Texas Farm Bureau for showing our JISD staff some love as we prepare for a new school year!
Each of these local businesses stopped by with goodie bags filled with supplies, snacks, and other treats for our teachers, and First National Bank also provided breakfast for our staff. We are so thankful for the support of our community and for those who take the time to make our teachers and staff feel appreciated.

Reminder to JISD Parents:
Please remember to complete and return your student’s Socioeconomic Information Form to the school. This form is required for every student, so we appreciate your help in getting these turned in as soon as possible!
If you did not get a form at Meet the Teacher, no worries! A form will be sent home with your student once school begins so that it can be completed and returned.

We need 3 volunteers to help work the concession stand during our Football Scrimmage & Meet the Eagles on Thursday, August 13th!

ATTENTION JISD RANGER COLLEGE-ENROLLED STUDENTS:
Ranger College final exams for Summer B & C will be held Wednesday, August 12. Please make sure you are prepared and aware of your exam schedule.
We’re excited to share that Jonesboro ISD will once again be providing FREE breakfast and lunch to all JISD students this school year! We’re grateful to be able to offer this opportunity again and look forward to helping ensure every student has access to healthy meals each day.
