The girls basketball game for today is officially moved to 5pm tomorrow in Meridian.
JISD is still starting school at 10 am today, Feb. 11th.
JISD will have a delayed start Thursday, Feb 11th. School will start at 10 am with busses running two hours late.
Tickets for the girls basketball game Thursday and boys basketball game Friday are available at the school. Both games require a ticket to get in but you will pay at the door with your ticket.
Spring Picture Notice
Spring pictures will be Wednesday the 17th of this month. Make sure to dress your best! Order forms will be sent out tomorrow. This will also be a day for fall retakes as well if your missed the first round.

Due to the girls basketball team having a playoff game this Thursday the practice to learn the cheer will be from 4:00-4:45 after school this Wednesday. Thanks so much! If unable to attend must make sure they get the content from a fellow student who is trying out.

New Grading Policy:
Parents please be aware JISD has instilled a new grading policy. The following documents outlines this policy. Teachers and students have had this policy explained to them in detail.

The JISD Cheerleaders are selling Candy Grams for Valentine’s Day school wide. Order forms where sent home with PK-6 grades last week and where left in the office for 7-12 grades to pick up. I have attached the order form below as well. Parents are welcome to send their students candy-grams. If a paper copy is needed please send a note with your child and Mrs. Sellers will make sure they get it. Orders can be sent to school and turned in at the office or with your students teacher.

Band Winter Concert Monday January 25th 7:00pm in the Jonesboro ISD Cafeteria.
Participating Music students include 5th-12th grade students, these students will have a dress rehearsal Sunday the 24th in the cafeteria from 2pm - 4pm. Students are to arrive for the concert at 6:00pm in blue jeans and a black top. There will be opportunities to order band shirts if you missed out and buy some baked goods prepared by our students' families. Thank you, JISD families for your support of our new band program and I look forward to seeing everyone at the concert.
