Senior Pictures and Fall Retakes are TOMORROW — Tuesday, October 21st!
Retakes are for students who missed picture day as well as those who would like to retake their previous photos.
Congratulations to the "State Bound" sisters and their entire team! Lynlee and Landree Deats placed 4th and 7th as individual runners. Lynlee had a time of 13:08:80 & Landree had a time of 13:47:12.
Parents of Junior High athletes,
We will be using this week as a transitional period but starting next week students will need to eat before school or before the athletic period bell rings at 8:00am. They will no longer be allowed to eat after athletics at 8:46am when they should be heading to their activity period.

The last day for students to drop with a "W" is Friday, October 24, at 5:00 PM. Please review your students' progress and encourage those who wish to drop to complete the drop form before 5:00 PM on Friday. Drop requests will only be received via the included drop form.

Jonesboro Library's kindness project this year is partnering with Restoring Hope Ministry. Each donation will help support an orphanage in Mexico called Casa Hojar. Missionary Wanita Rylander will be sewing quilts and Christmas stockings for the children and JISD is going to join in on the kindness. Here is a list of items needed. Mrs. Patterson has requested that all items donated be put in a zip lock bag with the student's name on it so we can keep count of who has donated. At the end of the school the students that donated the most will be invited to a special Cinco De Mayo celebration.

Jonesboro Athletic Booster Club will be selling long sleeve shirts and these awesome beanies! We will be updating when the store is open for purchase. Don't miss your chance to get some warm Eagle gear!
Say NO to Drugs!
Just a little bit of fun in the JISD Library this week! Students get the chance to guess how many M&Ms are in the jar! The student with the closest guess wins the jar. Results will be announced Friday the 24th or if you notice your little one coming home with extra chocolate on their face you'll know.
Parents, have your student wear gold on Thursday!
