At last weeks school board meeting, the board of trustees approved to move from six 6-week grading periods to four 9-week grading periods.
Below you will find a link to the new school calendar that reflects this change. No other changes were made to the calendar for the 23-24 school year.

If your child is interested in dual credit classes please get with Mrs. Barnett. She will be back on campus July 31st. Dual credit classes start August 21st. Students must be registered before this date.

Hunter Beaty, Braxton Dossey, Trey Harbour, Hannah Gustin and Memory Middlebrooks attended the State FFA Convention this week in Dallas.
Trey received his Lone Star Degree, placed second at state with his Wildlife Proficiency project, and was one of the top four competitors with Star Production. We are extremely proud of how well he represented JISD this week!
It was a great week full of learning and fun for us all!
Cheer camp went great this week. The girls learned a lot of new cheers & dances to perform at pep rallies and on the sidelines.
