As the end of the year approaches, please keep in mind that all accounts need to be brought to a
positive balance by May 5, 2023. Additional charges will not be allowed beginning May 8, 2023. You can
send cash, check, or go to myschoolbucks.com and create an account for your child(ren) to pay online
and set up alerts to let you know when their account has a low balance. It will ask for a Student ID #
which is your child’s date of birth. Thank you for your attention in this matter.
The absolute last day to turn in Class of 2023 senior slide show pictures and parent letter is Monday, May 8th. Please contact Kendra Byrom or Kayla Sellers if you have any questions.

Alissa Shumate qualified in triple jump and high jump.
The boys 4x100 relay consisting of Layden Nichols, Jaden Domel, Carter Janisch and DeMarcus Acoff will compete in Austin.
Both the boys and girls track teams competed very well at regionals posting some impressive team point totals. We had several athletes place just out of reach of a a state ticket.
We cannot be prouder of them all!

Jonesboro ISD is raising funds for an in-field remodel on the softball field. We have 7 designated areas that individuals or groups can sponsor. If you have any questions please contact the school.
Tonight’s softball game vs Gordon has been postponed until Monday 6 PM in Dublin.
Senior scholarship applications and newspaper senior survey are in the admin office.
The scholarships are due April 28th.
The newspaper is due May 5th.
Tuesdays baseball game has been moved today in Jonesboro at 4pm.
HS baseball game has been rescheduled from Tues to today (Monday) at 4:00 PM in Jonesboro vs Gholson to get ahead of the rain in the forecast.

LUKE MAXWELL IS GOING TO STATE AGAIN FOR THE THIRD YEAR IN A ROW!!!
Luke Maxwell 1st in Number Sense and 4th in Mathematics.
Number Sense team got 2nd place with Luke Maxwell, Chase Janke, DeMarcus Acoff and Truett Foote
5th place team in Mathematics with Luke Maxwell, Chase Janke, Truett and Pate Foote
5th place team in Literary Criticism with Sierra Chapman, Peyton Williamson, Truett and Pate Foote.

Order forms for regional track and playoff softball shirts. Both are due Monday, April 24th.
The softball team honored their senior players at last nights game. We are very happy to have each of these girls on the team and cannot wait for post season play!
