Jonesboro Library's kindness project this year is partnering with Restoring Hope Ministry. Each donation will help support an orphanage in Mexico called Casa Hojar. Missionary Wanita Rylander will be sewing quilts and Christmas stockings for the children and JISD is going to join in on the kindness. Here is a list of items needed. Mrs. Patterson has requested that all items donated be put in a zip lock bag with the student's name on it so we can keep count of who has donated. At the end of the school the students that donated the most will be invited to a special Cinco De Mayo celebration.

Jonesboro Athletic Booster Club will be selling long sleeve shirts and these awesome beanies! We will be updating when the store is open for purchase. Don't miss your chance to get some warm Eagle gear!
Say NO to Drugs!
Just a little bit of fun in the JISD Library this week! Students get the chance to guess how many M&Ms are in the jar! The student with the closest guess wins the jar. Results will be announced Friday the 24th or if you notice your little one coming home with extra chocolate on their face you'll know.
Parents, have your student wear gold on Thursday!

Jonesboro Volleyball will be showing their support for those lost, affected or currently battling breast cancer. Wear Pink on Tuesday October 14th to show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness. Home games start at 4:30pm
